Fundraising News |
New College Worcester has launched their annual campaign, Eye Care We Care.
The campaign runs throughout May and aims to draw attention to a wide range of issues surrounding blindness and vision impairment whilst raising funds to support our students’ education and well-being.
We are inviting individuals, businesses, schools and community groups to take part and join in the fun! All you need to do is decide on your fundraising event and let us know your plans so we can offer help and support.
We are aware that many people are still working from home or being a little careful with their social contact, but it won’t stop us having fun and doing things virtually. In fact, holding an online event using platforms like Zoom, often means you can bring more people together at one time.
Here are some ideas which can all be done in person or virtually that you may like to consider …
A Quiz Night
Virtual Group Exercise class
Individual Walk/Run/Challenge
Coffee Morning
Cookery Demo
Bake Off
Bingo Night
Social Media challenge
Virtual Auction
Sponsored Community Clear-Up
Social Media Photography Competition
Online Music/Comedy Event
Cycling Treasure Hunt
Online Gaming Tournament
Virtual Danceathon
To take part in the campaign please email Lottie Veasey on cveasey@ncw.co.uk or 01905 763933 and unless you have a preference, you will be allocated a day during May when we will promote your fundraising event.
To help us promote and thank you for your efforts, we will need your logo, a small paragraph of why you are supporting us and a photo of your event. We can supply posters, New College Worcester banners, balloons, blindfolds and school information leaflets so your supporters know you are supporting us.
If you would like to make a donation to this campaign or if you would like to set up a Fundraising Page for this campaign please click here. Thank you in advance.
